Opus unveiled: Native Land celebrates the anticipated exclusive launch of prime central London’s tallest residential tower
Opus unveiled: On Wednesday evening, 30th April Native Land marked the highly anticipated launch of Opus with an exclusive celebration. Native Land’s partners and friends old and new gathered at the Bankside Yards arches under the setting sun for an unforgettable night at what is soon to become prime central London’s tallest residential building.
On arrival – by Opus-branded taxis – attendees were welcomed by a string quartet and enjoyed a signature Opus welcome cocktail created by East London institution and fashion-set favourite, Bistroteque, who also curated the evening’s exceptional seasonal menu.
The evening unfolded against the backdrop of the beautifully restored Victorian railway arches – a space hidden from public view for over 150 years, until now. At sundown, the dancefloor came to life with Lady Mary Charteris on the decks, with a giant disco ball and LED ballerinas setting the arches sparkling until well into the night.
The first residential building at Bankside Yards, Opus is due to complete early 2027. Designed by world-renowned studio PLP Architecture, Opus will offer spectacular views over the city and of the River Thames. A new landmark for sustainable luxury living, Opus will comprise 249 future-proofed apartments ranging from studios to four bedrooms, alongside outstanding facilities including a padel court, bouldering wall, hydrotherapy pool and current pool, podcast and art studios and co-working space.
